About

Here we look at movie trailers old and new — analyzing them, critiquing them, enjoying them, laughing at them, sometimes all at once.

Trailers are basically marketing tools, glorified commercials, and yet putting together a good one can be an art. Often they can tell you more about the time in which they were made — the style and emphasis can be very ’70s, very ’90s — than about the movie they’re hyping.
